Messengers of Mercy was born out of a need, a need for Biblical parenting resources. As new parents, we found ourselves frequently asking, “How do we best parent?” Society is overwhelmed with people willing to give advice. We knew that would only help our offspring conform to this world, and we wanted more for our children. We started reading the Bible daily and through the grace of God, we are able to discern what is Biblical and right for our children. We are not perfect, nobody is, but we want to share with everyone our journey and help other young families in the struggle of raising children of God in the 21st century.

We also saw a need for advice on how to live financially frugal and abundantly faithful. The world often taught a message counter to this. Walking in faith while not worrying about money or financial burdens, seemed to be a lofty goal. However, the more time we spent in God’s word, the easier it became to live frugally. We are not intended to live for this world. We live a modest life off of one income. We have discovered how God will bless you if you hold your money in an open hand instead of in a tight fist. We budget monthly and our first and largest envelope filled is always the one marked Donations.
